What are the best beaches/places to retire in Costa Rica?
Currently live in Tx but planning to move costa rica next year. Any suggestions as to where in CR? I suppose the best deals are outside of major towns. Thanks

I was thinking of going to costa rica for a month or two, how much will it cost me to buy food there?
Right now I eat very well in America for $250 US dollars a month unless i go out to eat.

Playa Ventanas, Playa Hermosa, Playa Tortuga-do you need to be experienced swimmer to swim there? How about 10 y.o. child with basic swimming skills?

We are thinking of going to Costa Rica, Pacific coast. I have poor mobility and want ot avoid beaches with big waves. Playa Langosta would be a good resort but sufers go there, which suggests that there is a big well. It is near an estuary whcih generlly means cold water from a river. Does anyone kwow anything about the beaches on the north west coast of Costa Rica? Or any of them? I have looked on trip advisor.
Thank you Douger. The resort we are looking at is near Tamarindo (sp?) Is the estuary there large enough for aligators?
we have booked teh Barcelo Playa all inclusicve now. Does anyone kwno anything about it or the nearby village of Tamarindo?
Sorry for the typing errors in the last paragraph, written in a hurry.
