We are wondering how to plan our route during our 9 days stay in Costa Rica. Since time is limited and everyone wants to do activities from zip lining to fishing to white water rafting, we are trying to plan things that are worth seeing and doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Leaving July 5 2009.

…with a minimum of time spent on busses going from one place to another?
My advice so far is to go to the Pacific coast side, but what region is best, in your opinion?

I understand Rico’s use some odd pesticides, will cooking vegies and pealing fruits work?

I am planning a 14 day trip to Costa Rica with myself and my girlfriend in Mid March 2007. I already have a great deal on the airfare, but I am wondering what I should expect as far as a TOTAL price for the actual time in Costa Rica. This would include food, lodging, transportation, attractions, etc. I am planning a trip that would take us all over the country…a night here, a night there…I know this is an IMPOSSIBLE question to answer, but I am just looking to hear from people who have done this on a moderate budget. Thanks All!
So you think 1300 for BOTH of us for 2 weeks??? I would be completely happy with that. Has anyone actually gone to costa rica for 2 weeks? or is this just an outside estimate? Great answers guys! Thanks!
